4 Great Features to Look For In Your Class A Motor Home

Posted on: 20 September 2019

If you are thinking about purchasing a class A motor home, you want to purchase a motor home that is really going to give you the feeling of being in a home. If you plan on living full or part-time in your RV, you want it to be comfortable

Full-Size Residential Refrigerator

Most RVs are equipped with the mini-fridges that are most commonly associated with college dorm rooms. They really only provide you with a little bit of refrigerator space, which isn't adequate if you are living in your RV full time. Instead, look for an RV that provides you with a full-sized, double-door refrigerator. Dedicate a couple of feet of space within your RV so that you can enjoy a full-size fridge.

Window Seating

One of the great things about traveling in your RV is that your view changes all the time. Make sure that you are taking advantage of the view with some window seating in your living area. Window seating allows you to open up space in the middle of your RV. Most window seating also allows you to add storage under the seating area, allowing you to use the window seating for another purpose. If your window seat is long enough and wide enough, it can also function as a nice twin-size-ish bed.

Walk-In Utility Closet

If you don't want to have your utilities integrated into the RV look for a trailer that has a walk-in utility closet on the back of the trailer. Basically, the back end of the trailer is turned into a utility closet, with a separate door and a separate entrance. This can be nice if you want to have your utilities somewhere else and if you want a separate storage closet.

Pull-Out Pantry

When you live in your RV full-time, you are going to want the right space so that you can store all of your food. It is nice to not have to run to the store every few days. With a pull-out pantry, you'll have more space to store all of your food staples, such as canned food, boxed foods, and spices.

Auto-Leveling System

You don't want to feel like you are out to sea when you are in your RV. Get an RV that has an auto-leveling system. With an auto-leveling system, your RV will automatically adjust the height and balance of the RV to keep things steady when you are parked.

When it comes to buying a Class A motor home, make sure that you think about features that will make living in your RV more comfortable, such as a full-sized refrigerator, window seating, and a pull-out pantry. To get started, contact a company like Kitsap RV.
